Jarrod & Rawlins @ Damansara Heights.

Starring: Two insane Damansara Heights corporate slaves.

Description: This is how we behave on mundane Monday.

Yeap, it's Monday again! Hope you all had a great weekend. Not to forget Raya is coming real soon and we get 4 days off starting from this Friday till next Monday...yippee :D

Back to food, I believe you all have came across a few good reviews bout Jarrod & Rawlins. I have to admit that it serves really fine food, their homemade sausages and grilled ribs are simply not to be missed by carnivores. For me and my lunch kaki, Jarrod has been our default choice for gelatos as desserts, we never failed to drop by Jarrod for a scope or two on a stressful day after lunch at chap fan (mixed rice) stall or sandwiches at Subway.

This time round we thought we should make the owner feel a lil' happier by sampling their nice grills. Oh...do take note that you will be charged a whooping RM10 extra as grilling charges for ala carte grills.

My lunch kaki went for their set lunch, priced at RM25 which came with one starter, one main course and coffee/tea.

The starter tasted not bad, the crispy baguette was layered with poached egg and melted cream cheese on top...very creative we thought.

Then came her big chunk of grilled pork with dried apples and Swiss Rösti. According to her feeback, the pork was nicely grilled, crispy at the outside while retaining the juicy texture inside. Just go for it baby!

For someone like me who is more into desserts than big chunks of meat, this plate of duck breast salad (RM23) drizzled with balsamic vinegar would be a great choice.

Came dessert time and we were looking for something refreshing to clean our palates. The waitress suggested creme brulee and we decided to give it a go.

And duh...my camera's battery died before I managed to snap a pix of the desserts so just bear with the blurry handphone camera pix ya?

So...when our 'creme brulee' was served, we were like...'Huh? My fren, are you sure this is creme brulee???' Take a look...

We were so sure that they served us Chocolate Mousse cake cus the upper layer tasted exactly like chocolate mousse and the bottom layer tasted like how a pie crust should taste like O_o Somehow the two waiters insisted that it is creme brulee though...lol

So there you go, a great place to hang out with your frens, a place to fix your hankering for big chunks of meat and the one and only place for nice gelatos for Damansara Heights Corporate Slaves.

That is creme brulee? The staff must have woke up from the wrong side of bed that day! hahaha....

ps: You should ask them to show you how the chocolate mousse cake looks like? Then they might bring you the "actual" creme brulee. hehe.
