That bowl of XO fish head noodles

Thank you for participating in my syiok sendiri guessing game. The answer is…is…is …. something that turns wmw off … XO fish head noodle it is!

I have been eyeing on this noodle stall since Jan this year…having deferred the plan week by week…last Thurs we finally made our way there, partly lured by wmw’s review on this place and her luscious food pix.

Tucked away in a corner of a shoplot in Buona Vista, this place is certainly not easy to locate esp for someone like me who is forever hopeless in direction and navigation. Not to mention that this place is not accessible by MRT, Uncle N made me walked all the way to this place in heels. Aiks, for the sake of good food!
This place is famous for its fish head noodles that come with XO soup base and seriously big and juicy chunks of fish.
Another specialty is this stir-fried hor fun (flat noodles) with bean sprouts and fish slices. There you go, another plate of goodies loaded with fish.

Prawn paste fried chicken wings recommended by the stall owner which wmw missed out during her visit was surprisingly crispy and flavourful.
The bill came up to S $28 for 2 pax. Yes, money can buy happiness, esp when all it takes is a little price to pay for a satisfying comfort meal. Anyone coming down south for food hunt? Let’s go for XO fish head noodles :)

XLB, googled on KL food and 'stumbled' into your fort. If you have not seen this yet, you may like to check out this popular blog (no, not mine) on Singapore's at

Amazing pictures but again, disclaimer on ratings as it depends on the individual.

Enjoy!
