Busy Corner @ Damansara Jaya

Bet floggers and food lovers know that this restaurant serves one of the best claypot chicken rice in town. I used to frequent Busy Corner when studying @ KDU. The food is reasonably priced with generous serving, I luv the yummy soup selection too!

Believe it or not, the bill only came up to RM24 with two bowls of peanut soup + one claypot prawn rice + one claypot chicken rice + one green vege + two iced tea.

I luv the yummy soup selection from Busy Corner. Peanut soup (as seen in the picture) has always been my favourite. I think they also serve watercress soup and boo_licious' fave old cucumber soup.

The claypot prawn rice reminded me of Dome’s lousy catch of the day. This is absolutely much more better than Dome’s catch. FYI, we only ordered the small portion but it came with 6 juicy big prawns! I have to admit that the prawns are really fresh and cooked to perfection. Definitely a must try @ Busy Corner.
The usual claypot chicken rice. Simply delicious.
My confession of the day: I had a good lunch minus the hefty price tag. Save me a little more to spend on topping up my wardrobe.

LOCATION: Busy Corner is located near KDU college and Atria Shopping Complex. See KY's review for direction.

Hmm...somehow I didn't find the food here good enough. Maybe bcoz of the high standard set by Heun Kee and the one next to Maybank in Pudu. ;-) Have you tried them?

tankiasu: Heun Kee? Nvr tried before but i heard dat it is quite famous. Ok, noted on my 'must-try' list.

I love peanut soup... there's a good soup stall at tmn paramount which opens at night called Meng Kee. Give them a try but need to go early, before 8.30pm

Heard so much abt this place but have never been. Then again, I'm rarely around that area. Well, there's not much to shop at Atria, rite?

This place is famous for the different types of claypot rice they have. Atria has some shopping mah - now they have the Big Bookshop Warehouse Fair with lots of cheap books.

Their peanut soup is indeed very good, my must order. Don't quite like their Thai Claypot rice, taste funny. During my last visit, the lady boss recommended us her new yam and chicken rice and i don't know if it ended up in the menu or not.

Xiu Long Bao said...

precious pea: bet u dun like the sweet sour thai sauce? Dun think they added the yam rice into the menu, but i do luv yam rice!
