Thanks to the birthday boy--Sidney for organising this makan session, I had a great time meeting up with up with some floggers again after a few weeks of house arrest , am now back to the blogsphere and ready for more food hunts.
From the Set Menu (RM18.90)
Sit a Spell Cafe offers value set meal that comes with soup, main course (Chicken Roulade or Lamb Shoulder), dessert and coffee/tea. The menu changes every alternate day.
Chicken Roulade (boneless chicken leg met wrapped with turkey ham and cheese) has our vote as the fave dish of the nite. The wrap was deep fried and served with mash potatoes & mushroom ragout.
Grilled Lamb Shoulder with mint and black pepper sauce. The portion was generous, it came with a big chunk of lamb shoulder cooked medium-well. Too bad am not a lamb person but other floggers gave pretty good comments bout it.
From the A la Carte Menu
The cafe offers western and asian dishes, all reasonably priced and comes with generous portion.
The cafe offers western and asian dishes, all reasonably priced and comes with generous portion.
We love their Fish & Chips served with addictive self-blended tartar sauce (RM14.90) and Seafood Pasta that came loaded with mussels and tiger prawns (RM18.90).
If you can't survive another day without rice, go for their asian dishes like Balinese grilled fish in banana leaves, served with rice jewels or their signature Sit a Spell nasi lemak, served with curry or fried chicken (RM7.90).
Drinks
Strawberry Smoothie (RM4.90)
Ice blended chocolate
Desserts
Green Tea Tiramisu (RM7.50) -- love this! Just the right balance of sweetness with creamy mascarpone cheese layered in between green tea sponges.
Pandan Layer Cake (RM5.90) that reminds me of my childhood birthday cakes.
Royal Chocolate (RM5.90) -- Very rich and moist, highly recommended for chocolate lovers.
All in all, the food was good and reasonably priced. I esp love their homemade cakes. Do give it a try and remember to bring along the discount voucher ya :)

Hmm...this green tea tiramisu? Maybe similar to bread talk's version? It is good though. Not too sweet for me. Just the right balance of sweetness.
