Dae Sa Kwan @ Desa Sri Hartamas

Apparently a few bloggers blogged about Dae Sa Kwan and seem to be quite pleased with the food, so I decided to give DSK a try.
Environment wise, I really love this place, nice and comfy seats with cushions and good ventilation too. If you wish to dine @ DSK, do ask the waiters to allocate upstairs seatings as I did .

Okay, back to food. Pricey? Yes but DSK serves 10 tiny plates of complimentary appetizers, a big bottle of cold water and a plate of fresh fruits as dessert to all patrons, sounds good huh?

We ordered the hot stone mix vege rice (RM 18), which is a popular dish in korea. Be careful! Don't hurt your fingers by touching the hot stone bowl. Taste wise, a good combination of veges, egg and rice for me. The portion is big enough for 2 persons.

The next dish to come is the seafood korean pancake (RM 25). Another alternative would be kimchi pancake but with a few bucks difference, we opted for seafood instead.

Believe it or not, take a look at this picture. I was horrified when I flipped the pancake over. Yeee....it was really oily!!!

The last dish was the BBQ chicken (RM 27). We didn't get to BBQ the chicken on our own and I thought the chicken chunks were stir-fried instead of BBQ-ed by the cook. But anyway, thanks to the BBQ sauce, the chicken tasted pretty good.

In conclusion, I love everything about this place except the food O_o Okay, I'm not saying that the food is lousy, I'm just not into korean food. But if you love korean food and korean BBQ, DSK is the place for you.

The bill: RM80 for 2 persons

LOCATION:40G, Jalan 25/70A, Desa Sri Hartamas.
