On the way to that dimsum restaurant, I spotted this van selling extraordinary big pau, a.k.a the well known Yip Chee May Big Bun. Apparently, the owner of this big pau factory was inspired by the Hong Kong sex goddess in the early 90s--Amy Yip. Now who is Amy Yip? Ngek ngek...click here for her stunning pix.
OMG, these buns are really HUGE!!!
Priced at RM4 each, which I think is pretty reasonable, the bun is 2 times larger than the size of my palm.
Hmmm...what is inside?
Okay, the fillings are generous, kinda similar to those you can find in normal big bun (tai pau) like chicken chunks, 'winter vege' (dong choi) and egg slices.
Warning: This big bun is meant to be shared. Do not attempt to gorge one whole bun on your own or suffer for the next 5 hours.
LOCATION: Along Taman Connaught main road.
