Wong Kok Char Chan Teng @ SS2

*Headache* when looking at Char Chan Teng’s menu. With over 200 types of snacks, rice dishes, noodles, colourful refreshing drinks and tong sui to choose from, I’m often spoilt for choice.

Finally after scratching head and flipping the menu for countless times, we settled for these:

This is the famous Hong Kong B-boy Cincau (RM6.20). This surprisingly refreshing dessert came with loads of watermelon, honeydew and papaya chunks and finely shredded cincau strips. Will definitely come back for more!

The smooth cincau strips!
This Char Chan Teng offers an extensive range of fruity ice-blended drinks and non-alcoholic cocktails with funky names. This sour plum drink is named as ‘Salty Dog’ (RM 5.90).

To the mains, Char Siew Bao ordered Nissin Noodles in Wooden Bowl (RM10.90) and this big wooden bowl really horrified us. What’s inside? Small portion of Nissin noodles (Hongkie’s Maggie Mee) with a few strands of bok choy and meatballs floating in spicy soup.
I had the Seafood Udon Noodles (RM8.90), I was expecting some fresh seafood to go with the noodles but it only came with preserved veges and processed seafood.

Conclusion: Nothing special about the noodles, maybe I’ll go for the rice dishes and snacks on my next visit when I’m craving for its B-boy cincau on a hot sunny day!

LOCATION: No.2, Jalan SS2/67, Petaling Jaya. (You can't miss it when you are in SS2 area.)

I tought they was came from the village.. service are very bad, the waiters are not polite to the customer, the way they take order are very impolite and their faces always in black way. Somemore, they served my food in very slow way. The drinks i had already finish but the food haven't serve me yet...

I know 2 people sitting in 4 people's table is consider not suitable , but since'fist come firt serve', don't tell me you don't know this way to treat your customers.

Tell u the worst thing was, i order 1 glass of hot chinese tea and 1 bowl of rice(fish fried with egg and rice). The glasses that use to put the chinese tea one is so dirty, looks like didn't wash before. And the most most worst thing is, when i ate until the half of the rice, i only realise that the fish haven't cook finish at another side that i'm ready to eat..(means half cook only)
> > The fish meat u still can see gry colour inside.. Just like just taken out from the fridge.. The egg was fried with the fish meat but just the egg are fully cook.. it was so irritating.. i felt like vomiting..

They took away my rice and never be come back to me anymore.. It was very irresponsible.. The bill also did not deduct the rice money..is bout RM9.20.I am not not dare to fight back, but i am sitting there to see how bad is the service are.. but finally, wong kok had disapointed me also.. they didn't apologize also. The way they ansewr me:'where got half cook?' is so'profesional',it seems it happens to the customers so many times. And you are not suppose to suspect your customer also.

I had choosen a big seats just near the window 1, but the waiters tell me i am not suppose to sit there. But that time is only a few customers there, the place are big, the seats are many, why are the waiter are so bother about that? I had been requested few times to the waiter to get me the seat which near the window one, but they still rejected me . I was so irritating about the bad service. I saw 1 pair of love couple are having their tea too in wong kok who came early than me but sat on the big seats that near the window that i mention just now, but they just allow the couple to sit at there. Do u know how many big seats that is near the window 1? Let me tell u, it is more then 15 big table there, just got 2 or 3 tables that has been us
