Do you luv nougats?
I recalled that when I was young, 'cloud nine' chocolate bar was my first try on nougats. That was not my fave as I hate the chewy sticky texture of the nougats.
Few years ago when I was in Australia, I had one of this famous crunchy nougats in my friend's house and was since hooked. This GB nougats is produced by aussie-chinese in Western Australia, 1 kg costs about $21 (=RM 60) in Western Australia, $22 in Melbourne and $23 in Sydney. I luv the green tea flavoured nougat the most. There are also other varieties like original, cappuccino, mint and apricot. I bought 3kg of them when I came back for good last December ^_^
You can also get them from Jusco stores or KLIA.

i always prefer this crunchy version rather than the chewy sticky version..
The last time friend brought me these, I overdone until 'jelak'. Akibat greedy. =P

LURVE Nougat. I like the slightly chewy kind. There's a particular kind that we package with out gifts that I'll post about soon. :-)

ahhhh i think the maroon wraping ones! yummy! I remember last time we can't get it in malaysia... had to ask my friend to buy from OZ for me.

now the price went up already. It's about $25 for 1kg here. No more nougat! Let's go for Apple Strudels from Corica's! haha!

Yaya, cause the property here increase a lot. That's why, they increase the price of the nougat too. Just like in Malaysia, whenever there's an increase in the petrol, the price of everything also increase....
Nougat~!!! It's one of my favorite snack last time. I love the chewy part where it gives you the aromatic flavor....mmmm mmmm. :)
I like the one in purple packet...I think it's original flavor or with almonds. Forgot about it cause too long never eat them. Now that you posted about it, I suddenly miss them so much~!
i am still quite phobia with these cause da last time my bf's sista came back from melbourne, she brought back a lot and that i mostly had at least 2-3 pieces one day... no doubt, they are yummy and i like da green tea flavour so much! :D

Macau also got nice nougat..happened to walk pass their factory during my last visit. Not too bad...not as sweet as GB. If i stay the same place again, will get some for you to try.
